Step 1

Charge your Zepp Sensor

For best performance, the Zepp Baseball sensor is recommended to be fully charged prior to use. A full charge cycle may take up to 2.5 hours.

Step 2

Download Zepp Baseball and Create Account

  1. Download the free Zepp Baseball app from the App Store (for Apple devices) or Google Play (for Android devices).
  2. Once downloaded, open the Zepp Baseball app and select Get Started to create an account.
  3. Select one of the respective options: Use Zepp Sensor, Learn from the Pros or Record your swing.
  4. Setup your Zepp account either using Facebook or an email address. Creating a specific account for yourself will allow you to view swing data on any mobile device compatible with Zepp Baseball.

Controls & Indicators

  •   Power On
    Hold Multi-Function button in from the side toward the LED channel for 4 seconds
  •   Power Off
    Hold Multi-Function button in from the side toward the LED channel for 4 seconds
  •   Reconnect Sensor
    Press Multi-Function button twice
  •   Low Battery Indicator
    Press Multi-Function button once. Three LED's lit with one light blinking or less indicates low battery.
  • Favorite A Swing
    Press Multi-Function button once within 10 seconds of capturing a swing.

Sensor Usage

  • Sensor will enter a sleep mode after 5 minutes of non-use. Double click Multi-Function button to wake sensor up.
  • Up to 5.5 hours continuous swing recording on a full charge (varies by use).

Step 4

Pair and Connect

  1. Power Zepp sensor on by holding Multi-Function button in from the side toward the LED channel for 4 seconds.
  2. Grab your smartphone or tablet and turn on Bluetooth located in your mobile device's settings.
  3. In Bluetooth Settings, select "ZEPP - XX" and allow 10-15 seconds for the sensor to pair. If prompted to enter a PIN to successfully pair, simply press "OK" or "Accept" and continue. No PIN is required to pair the Zepp Sensor.

Once paired, your smartphone or tablet will indicate the Zepp sensor as "Paired" or "Connected." The pairing process listed above is only required the first time you connect your sensor to your mobile device as the sensor will automatically once it has been paired.

If you wish to pair the Zepp sensor to another mobile device, you must first un-pair the sensor from the original device as it can only be paired to one device at a time.

Mount your Sensor

Attach the mount to the bottom of your bat handle and insert the Zepp sensor.

Step 6

Take a Swing
making Contact with a Ball!

  1. With the sensor powered on and connected, open the Zepp Baseball app. You will see a yellow sensor icon in the top of the app blinking. This indicates the sensor is connecting to the app and may take up to 10-15 seconds to connect. Once connected, the icon will become solid yellow.
  2. Once connected you will be asked to calibrate the device. When calibrating, be sure to hold the sensor still in your batting stance as shown in the calibration screen. If you are not prompted to calibrate, select the yellow sensor icon located in the top of the Home Screen to initiate calibration process.

    We recommend calibrating the sensor once prior to a swing session.

  3. Select "Capture Your First Swing Now" or "Swing Now" located near the top of the home screen to open the 3D view. This is the main swing screen of Zepp Baseball.
  4. Select the bat you wish to use using the bat selector option located next to the calibration icon within the 3D view.
    Once your bat is selected, step up to the plate and swing making contact with a ball! All swings where contact is made with a ball will automatically be captured and saved locally to your mobile device.

If your mobile device is also connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or cellular data, all swing information will be backed up to our servers. This allows you to view swing data from any compatible mobile device and prevents the loss of swing information.

Attach the mount to your velcro glove strap and insert the sensor with the button pointing toward you body so that you can easily press the button.

Step 6

Take a Swing!

  1. With the sensor powered on and connected, open the Zepp Golf app. You will see a yellow sensor icon in the top of the app blinking. This indicates the sensor is connecting to the app and may take up to 10-15 seconds to connect. Once connected, the icon will become solid yellow.
  2. Once connected you will be asked to calibrate the device. When calibrating, be sure to hold the sensor still while standing upright. If you are not prompted to calibrate, select the yellow sensor icon located in the top of the home screen to initiate calibration process.

    We recommend calibrating the sensor once prior to a swing session.

  3. Select "Capture Your First Swing Now" or "Swing Now" located near the top of the home screen to open the 3D view. This is the main swing screen of Zepp Golf.
  4. Select the club you are going to use using the club selector icon located next to the calibration icon within the 3D view.

Once your club is selected, swing! All swings will automatically be captured and saved locally to your mobile device

Step 5

Mount your Sensor

Flex Mount Start by aligning the octagon shape of the mount with the octagon shape of your tennis racket handle. Stretch the mount over the bottom of the handle so the shapes are aligned, and pull the mount tight over the handle. To insert the sensor, find the Zepp logo and the two small protruding vertical tabs on two of the corners of the mount near the logo area. Align the sensor button with one of these tabs (either one) and insert the sensor into the mount with LEDs facing outward.

Pro Mount Start by aligning the octagon shape of the mount with the octagon shape of your tennis racket handle. Remove the tape from the bottom of the mount and press firmly to apply. Allow 24 hours for adhesive to set prior to use. To insert the sensor, align the LED channel with the logo on the mount and insert the sensor into the mount with LEDs facing outward.

Step 6 a

Capture a Session!

  1. With the sensor powered on, open the Zepp Tennis app. You will see a yellow sensor icon in the top of the home screen blinking. This indicates the sensor is connecting to the app and may take up to 10-15 seconds to connect. Once connected, the icon will become solid yellow.
  2. Once connected you will be asked to calibrate the device. When calibrating, be sure to place the sensor into your racquet while on a flat surface. If you are not prompted to calibrate, select the yellow sensor icon located in the top of the Home Screen to initiate calibration process.

    We recommend calibrating the sensor once prior to a swing session.

  3. Select Start Play Tracking from the Home Screen to open the Play Tracking Start Screen and select "Start."
    If this is your first time capturing a session, you will be asked which mount you are using. (Flex or Pro Mount) If you change mounts at anytime, you will want to update the mount type located in the "My Racquet" section located in the Main Menu.
  4. Once you select start, close the app, put your mobile device away and go play! All swing data will store on the sensor locally until the end of your session.

Once your session has ended, open the Zepp Tennis app and the sensor will automatically reconnect to the app and ask whether you would like to sync or discard the data. Select Sync Data and all swing information will download into the app and ask you where the session was a single or doubles match, or a practice session and generate a session report.

Step 6 b

Capture a 3D Serve!

  1. Follow part 1 and 2 from step 6A above by connecting the sensor to your mobile device and calibrating the sensor once prior to your serve session.
  2. Select Practice your Serve from the Home Screen to open the 3D Serve Practice Mode.
    You may be asked to switch the sensor into 3D Serve Practice mode. Select switch to continue.
  3. Once the sensor switches modes, you are ready to capture your 3D serve!

For best results, we recommend holding your racket still for 1 second prior to beginning your initial serve motion.
